Inspired by our new Vampire characters in our RP, we decided to have an epic vampire movie thing.

My initial reaction was "WTF."

And it remains wtf. o-O

The idea of him being not alive. Confuses me like woah.

I was trying to cheer my sister up earlier, and I do that by asking ridiculous questions... so I got the bright idea to ask this on a whim.

"Hey dad, what would you do if I told you I RPed gay nazi sex?"

He was quiet for a few minutes before giving me a strange look and saying "I'd take your computer away."

...I couldn't help but laugh.


....If you know me personally, you'll know why this is absolutely HILARIOUS.... if you don't, then, well... you're probably either thinking this is HORRIBLE or that I'm on something. xD

That I really do know more about the Sex Pistols than I should.
I'll start rambling about them randomly and spouting out facts. I kept doing it one the way to NYC to Kasha.

It might be unhealthy .__.

I don't even know what my fixation is with them in the first place...

The haircut I've been growing my hime cut out to get?

Yeah. My sister just came home with it; except without the bangs.


My dad wasn't letting ME get the haircut because it was short and he'd give me this patronizing "Girls should have long hair" speech every time I'd show it to him.

But now that she has it, all of a sudden, his attitude's gone to "Ohhh it looks so niceeeeeeee you look so grown up and prettyyyyyy"


Now I need to find another hairstyle. After wanting to do this for like 2 or 3 years. Fucking great.

SO YESTERDAYYYYY...
Kasha and I went to New York City for the day.

We hit up Kinokuniya & the fabric stores... annd a comic sore.
Wandered around Chinatown for a really long time.
Ate foodz
Got lost
Annnd... I got stuck in a subway door. SHUTUP D=

We got like.. EVERYTHING we wanted to do accomplished before 4PM though... AMAZING. I'm quite proud of us. =3

Anyhoo, picked up the PERFECT fabric for the light blue/dark blue plaid parts of my Ciel Phantomhive costume 8D ((which would be the jacket lining, sleeve cuffs, pants cuffs, & jacket collar)) pictures later maybe.

We also got a great fabric for Grell's vest xD
It's a brownish fabric with orange & white pinstripes. Though, it only looks so if you're looking at it up close. Otherwise (and in pictures), the orange def looks red.
Since Julie & I already picked up a lovely grey pinstripe fabric for Sebastian's vest, we think it'll work quite nicely.


Speaking of fabric adventures with Julie....
Thursday, we went to the fabric store and got some WONDERFUL fabrics for Hannah's Elizabeth costumeee~~~~

To start with, Julie bought a WAY gorgeous minty pastel green fabric for the main part of the costume like... last week or something.
This time, we found a striped fabric which was dark green and that SAME minty colored green as the main fabric. We will be using this for the bow on the capelet & we're also LINING the capelet in it. On top of that, we picked up some eyelit lace, with a width of about 3-4 inches for the tiers on the skirt.

We have also discovered that one of the pattern pages from a gothic lolita magazine ((Gosu Rori vol.... 4? 5? I dunno... I don't have the mag anymore; just the patterns)) that I bought WAAAY back... like... freshmen year of high school. (that Julie yelled at me for spending $30 on at the time xD) is EXTREMELY helpful in these costumes. I mean, SURE... I have to alter the SHIT out of them still, but it still had the majority of what we needed.

While we were sitting there tracing & cuttting them out, I snerked at her and said "And you YELLED at me for buying this."

Someone totally needs to like... write a fic picking up from where Sebby is in the torture chamber and relate it to Wesley (Princess Bride)'s time in the torture chamber.

Cuz, "yes my lord" so equals "as you wish"
which is code name for "I love you"

And everyone knows that Sebby is gonna save Ciel from that point.... And what does Wesley do after they resurrect him? Exactly.

So... the moral of this ramble is...
Kuroshitsuji equals Princess Bride.

And Sebby is to Ciel as Wesley is to Princess Buttercup.

Because. Yeah. True Love. They say that over & over again in Princess Bride, SO IT MUST BE TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

like... if I didn't just spend the better part of 6 hours cleaning it... there's NO way I'd have believed someone did.

So, I'm hoping to get over Julie's for Kuroshitsuji costume planning/pattern making/possibly sewning?

I won't plan any further ahead than that... since it might change >.> -cough-

So far plans for Arisia include making Star Trek Uniforms and doing some Venture Brother's cosplay. ((So far that only includes myself as Dr. Girlfriend & Julie as Molatov Cocktease. (The younger, more clothed Molatov... we do have shame, after all xD; ) ))
Julie's also been talking about doing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer group for a LONG time.  If we end up doing that, I'll be Drusilla... and I know Julie wants to be Vampire!Willow.

Anime Boston should include more Hetalia cosplay. (We've had a really awesome idea for a while now.  More details on that later.)  We will be rewearing the Kuroshitsuji costumes and we might do a Tokyo Mew Mew group.  I also kinda wanna drag my Bridget (Guilty Gear) costume out and wear that again. >.>

And we SO might actually go to  Anime North this year! One of my online pals wants us to do Okage Shadow King cosplays if we do, which I'm totally up for.  I've been wanting to cosplay Princess Marlene for YEARS.
 

I   swear I'll write an entry that DOESN'T   involve cosplay soon. >.>

We made rainbow cupcakes, It was awesome.

And....

We went to Salem Willows with Joe earlier and bought wonderfully cheap food... then fed pigeons peanuts, which was fun until one of them shat on me =/
Then things got annoying....

We went downtown for a bit too. I bought volumes 3 & 4 of King of Bandit Jing for $1 at Harrison's!! I still love that series to death, I don't even care. =/
It's be on my top 5 animes/mangas.

Speaking of which, finally watching Kuroshitsuji right now, and I kinda love it. A lot.
I told Ana ((AKA Germania)) that I was watching it and she said I'd cry at the end....

I signed onto the MSN RP and woah... Ana, Stella, and Yue ((Germania, Iceland, & Taiwan respectively)) like... mobed me. xD
Iceland's message said "Did Prussia die?!"
I love how if I don't tell them what I'm doing & I don't sign on they freak out like that... and even if I do tell them, when I get back, they tell me how much I was missed. I love them all, I really do, they're the best interweb RP partners ever >W<

Brother and Sister are at their prom tonight ((which is at the Hyatt in Cambridge. Hah, go figure.)) So... the house has been quiet all day.
Showed my Aunt one of the Hetalia costumes I made ((my Liecht costume, obvs)) And she was majorly impressed. She said it was cute till she saw the pants, then she rolled her eyes at Kasha's "nazi" comments xD;

Kasha's in bed. it's not even 1 yet! So, I am majorly bored. =/
I'm off to watch more Kuroshitsuji & talk to my osm online pals.
